Q. I have my Jupiter return coming up in September and I am wondering what this means.

A. Jupiter has a 12 year cycle and its return to the birth position is both the end of an old cycle and the beginning of a new one, in terms of how this part of self operates in your life. Jupiter is considered to be one of the good news planets, astrologically speaking, associated with expansion, faith, optimism, good will and good fortune and the expression of much that is truly positive about ourselves and of life in general. Any significant Jupiter transit coincides with benevolent occurrences, some of it obvious, some of it not. But it would be mistake to consider Jupiter to be solely good, as like any planet or part of self it too has a shadow, which can express itself negatively.
