Q. What is the significance of having a child on the same birthday and what do her challenges and differences mean to me and to her. I feel that we are the same person. She was born last year and has a rare genetic disorder which has slowed her development and I feel that she is still on another plane spiritually but physically very here.
A. This is a vast question, so I can only touch on some of the themes here. Having the same birthday will definitely have you sharing significant patterns, abilities and feeling processes, especially in Pisces. In a number of places in your charts, there are many parallels; you both have fire Moons, Sun/Plutos, Venus in Aries, even opposite Ascendants, all reinforcing your commonality...click 'Read More' to continue...
There are clear indications that this is not a new relationship and like all parent/child connections, the karma is always mixed. The love bond between you is undeniable but she has also come to challenge and transform you, by getting you to own your own power and to make a fuller transition from girl/child into fully matured woman, psychologically speaking. This will involve getting a clearer separation between the wounded child and the adult parent roles within your self. This is going to be so important for both of you and particularly because you are both Pisceans as the sign is not known for having good, clear boundaries. At this point it is totally appropriate for you to be right in there with her but the clearer you are about the difference between your own wounded child and this gloriously ethereal being that you have birthed, the better you will be able to see and respond accurately to her needs.
However her development goes, and some of it will be erratic, there is a lot of grace with her. As you’ve intuited, she is extremely gifted psychically and spiritually, and she will touch people very deeply with her love. Her early difficulties will lay the foundations for her to bring through some awesome healing power. There’s no doubt her first two years will be very challenging, but you are absolutely the right person for the job. Go well!
